New Fall Menu & Specials at The Black Diamond Pub
Fall is here, says the calendar—and say those White Mountain trees and shrubs out there, turning their breathtaking colors that lure leaf-peepers and shutterbugs from all around the world.
This is an incredible time to visit the New Hampshire highlands, with peak landscape beauty at every turn and also the timeless joys of apple orchards, corn mazes, and harvest fairs ready to hand. Mountain Club on Loon puts you right in the center of it all, with an extra incentive: Our Black Diamond Pub has unveiled its fall menu, so you’re guaranteed some awesome seasonal flavors just steps from your slopeside accommodations: the culinary foundation for an amazing retreat to the heart of New England.
Fall Feasting at The Black Diamond Pub
The Black Diamond Pub here at The Mountain Club on Loon launched its “New England Fall Menu” earlier this month, and it’s been a fabulous showcase for the season’s harvest bounty and for the kind of hearty flavors that truly hit the spot after a day’s worth of leaf-peeping and otherwise enjoying that crisp mountain weather.
Starring roles on the menu go to such items as the pot roast dressed in natural braising jus and the pan-seared statler chicken sumptuously soaked in maple cranberry gastrique. But don’t forget the roasted root vegetables, a beautiful celebration of the season’s fertility—not to mention the crowd-pleasing clam chowder.
Speaking of crowd-pleasing, we’ve brought back—by popular demand—the Black Diamond Pub crispy fried Brussel sprouts presented with bacon and malt vinegar aioli: fall tasting as heavenly as can be.
Smoked Out Friday at The Black Diamond Pub
Fall Fridays at The Black Diamond Pub have the kiss of fire and smoke about them. Nothing like settling in to our signature prime rib, suited up in whole-grain mustard and our house BBQ rub and slow-smoked over a mix of apple, maple, mesquite, and cherry wood, and presented with BBQ au jus potato and vegetable-of-the-day.
The Black Diamond Pub’s Fall Drink Special
The celebration of fall at The Black Diamond Pub isn’t restricted to the plate. For the perfect libation to go along with this autumnal feast, try our Crisp Apple Sangria: Nothing better for toasting the glories of the White Mountains in their fall-fired suit, we’d wager!
