Summer is almost here, and the schedules are going to start filling up. Some people think that when the snow melts mountain vacations are no longer an option, but that could not be more wrong. With so much to do in Lincoln New Hampshire, The Mountain Club On Loon wants to provide the best summer vacation you have ever had.

Explore the Great Outdoors

The snow melts, but that does not mean the mountain closes. Loon Mountain has everything whether you are climbing high in the Aerial Forest Adventure Park, Zip lining over the Pemigewasset River, or taking in the view from above on the scenic gondola sky ride; you will find your adventure. The Adventure Center is your spot for summer fun at Loon.

Tour Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves on boardwalks, following the river as it disappears and appears among the chaotic jumble of scattered boulders. Explore the Hall of Ships, stand under Guillotine Rock and squeeze through the Lemon Squeezer. Enjoy the nature garden, geological displays, and the picnic area.

Franconia Notch State Park is located in the White Mountain National Forest. The park is a spectacular mountain pass traversed by a unique parkway, which extends from the Flume Gorge to Echo Lake. Stop for a swim at Echo Lake, or stay a while and catch some trout at Profile Lake. Ride your bike on the Recreational Trail or hike the Appalachian Trail.

Adventure Activities

Enjoy the summer sun and cool off in New England's favorite water park. Whale's Tale Waterpark has everything a family could need. Enjoy the Wave Pool's oceans-size breakers or unwind on the lazy river. Action awaits on the Moby Dip Speed Slide, Whale Winder Slides, and 360-foot tube slide. Younger children will also enjoy the Whale Harbor activity pool.

New England's largest adventure golf experience is minutes away from The Mountain Club On Loon. You will discover beautifully landscaped areas with mountain views, uniquely designed holes with caves, cascading waterfalls and hundreds of flowering gardens and shrubs.

All aboard the Hobo Railroad. Travel through 15 miles of wooded setting along the twisting Pemigewasset River. A conductor provides historical narration and points out sights along the way. It has been awarded "Best Ride for Kids" by New Hampshire Magazine, "it's not a train ride; it's a family-fun attraction with scheduled entertainment!”

Lincoln New Hampshire offers a ton to do and see. After a long day of exploration relax at the spa or enjoy a meal at The Black Diamond Pub. Take a rest in our perfect getaway rooms and refresh for another day of fun. Explore the outdoors or stroll through town, whatever you decide The Mountain Club On Loon is close by for your summer vacation.
