Fall is a great time to grab your camera and go to Lincoln, NH. The air is crisp, the surroundings are filled with color, and the perfect photo opportunity awaits. Whether you bring a digital with multiple lenses, a smaller digital camera, a Polaroid, or your smartphone, you will create a beautiful photo when you visit Lincoln, NH. There are plenty of amazing views and locations to capture the essence of fall.

To capture the fall colors, you do not have to go far; you do not even have to get out of your car, although I do not know why you wouldn’t. The Kancamagus Highway is perfect for an afternoon drive to view of the changing leaves and capture an amazing photo. It has scenic views in every direction and plenty of spots that you can pull the car over and capture the colors blanketing the mountains.  

The Flume Gorge in Lincoln, NH is a must-see for anyone visiting Franconia Notch and wanting the perfect photo op. The chasm is 800 feet long and up to 90 feet tall in some places and marveling at it is certainly encouraged! It is an easy two-mile trail loop, making it a  family-friendly outdoor adventure and the perfect for spot for photography. There are plenty of different angles and perspectives to capture The Flume surrounded by the colors of fall.

After a fun day of exploring and shooting, relax and look over your photos at Mountain Club on Loon. Take in the picturesque autumn surroundings on your outdoor balcony while you edit and review your pictures. A helpful tip when looking through your images is to caption them. Where were you, what were you doing, and who were you with. This way when you come back to these photos in a couple of years or post them to a website.
