In fall, the Spectacular Colors are just the Beginning
If you’ve never seen the White Mountains in autumn, you really should experience nature’s intensely beautiful show. Quite conveniently, we’re located right on the legendary Kangamagus Highway, one of America’s most scenic roads, with waterfalls, overlooks, and magnificent views in every direction. This is also a great time of year for hiking, biking, fishing, golf, pumpkin picking, corn mazes, moose tours, outlet shopping, and many other activities easily accessible from here.
We’re always happy to arrange or recommend great fall experiences. Just ask!
Once the Snow Melts, Plenty of New Adventures Spring Up
When the weather gets warmer, the crowds thin out a bit, and a host of great adventures are yours for the choosing. Like mountain biking, fishing, bird watching, hiking, ATV riding, and much more. This is a great time of year to view a rushing waterfall, cycle along a quiet wooded trail, cast your line in a glassy pond, or just marvel at nature’s annual renewal. But definitely keep those skis handy ... when the weather cooperates, spring skiing is a total blast!

Summer Here has its Own Kind of Magic
In summer, the White Mountains come alive in a whole different way. Those long warm days are tailor made for kayaking, canoeing, swimming, tubing, fishing, boating and every other water activity. On land, try your hand at rock climbing, test your game at area golf courses, take in a play or concert, or find that blissful summer hike. Up in the air, enjoy a helicopter tour or zip-line adventure. From our location on Loon, it’s easy to make the mountains your personal summer playground.
