Jeffrey O. McIver is President and General Manager of The Mountain Club on Loon.
Previously, he served as President & General Manager of BALSAMS, Inc., a 15,000-acre “American Plan Destination Resort” located in Dixville Notch, NH, which included 27 holes of golf, six (6) tennis courts, and skiing (Alpine and Nordic). In addition, he has served as Vice President of East Coast Resort Management, operating four (4) Golf & Ski Resorts Properties in Central, NH; General Manager of Mountain Lodge Development, Pollard Brook Resort, Lincoln, NH; Director of Food, Beverage and Summer Operations of Loon Mountain Recreation Corp., Lincoln, NH; General Manager of the Marriott Vacation Club International, Lincoln, NH; Vice President Resort Operations, Silverleaf Resorts, Dallas, TX. He holds a BS in Accounting, awarded by Thomas Business College, Waterville, Maine.
Matthew Holland CEC, CEPC - Executive Chef
Chef Holland’s Culinary Training was completed at The BALSAMS Grand Resort, and he has apprenticed and trained at the Four Diamond Colonial Williamsburg Inn, VA; and at the Five Diamond Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, CO.
Chef Holland’s past positions include Executive Sous Chef at The Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods; Executive Chef at Bonta Restaurant in Hampton, NH; and Executive Pastry Chef at The BALSAMS Grand Resort Hotel. Most recently he served as Instructor of Baking and Pastry at White Mountains Community College, Berlin, NH. Chef Holland holds certifications as an Executive Chef and Executive Pastry Chef from The American Culinary Federation. He was named Chef of the Year by the White Mountains Chapter of the American Culinary Federation in May 2013.
Michael Simons - Revenue Manager
A 20-year veteran of the New England hospitality industry, Simons has served in various hotel management positions, most recently as Guest Services Manager for the Wyndham Long Wharf Resort, Newport, RI. A well-known long-time resident of the Lincoln area, he had previously served as Resident Manager at the Mountain Club on Loon until 2008, and was Assistant Director of the Lincoln-Woodstock Chamber of Commerce, handling the organization’s Central Reservations Service, as well as serving as its President. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, he holds the designation of Certified Revenue Manager, awarded by Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.
Gary Armitage – Director of Business Development.
With over 30 years of marketing, sales and executive operations experience in multi-million dollar organizational revitalization efforts, Armitage comes to The Mountain Club on Loon following corporate leadership positions and training with Marriott, Harrison Conference Centers, Sheraton, ARAMARK, the University of New Hampshire and Delaware North Companies. He was most recently Vice President of Sales and New Business Development at The BALSAMS Grand Resort Hotel, and Director of Sales, Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations for Delaware North Parks and Resorts.
Deb Woodman - Director of the Viaggio Spa & Wellness Center
Debbie Woodman has been Director of the Viaggio Spa & Wellness Center since 1989. She holds a BS in Recreation Administration, Health Education and Coaching awarded by Plymouth State College. Her previous experience includes: Racquet Sports Director, Racquet Club of Concord, NH; Leisure Programming Assistant Cold Spring Resort Ashland, NH; and Assistant Manager, Don’s Fitness Center Concord, NH. In addition she is a Soccer and Basketball Coach for the Linwood Recreation Departments and Linwood Public School.

Lisa M. Tetreault of Groveton - Director of Group Sales
With over 30 years of business management experience in the North Country, Tetreault comes to the Mountain Club from her previous position as Corporate Sales Manager at the Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa, as well as serving as its Director of Sales and Interim Director of Marketing.
Lori Hogan - CFO
Lori A. Hogan has been CFO/Director of Finance since 2011, having previously served as the resort’s Director of Finance since 2005. Prior to coming to the Mountain Club on Loon, Lori was Controller/Director of Accounting for Smugglers’ Notch Resort in Vermont. With an extensive background in financial management, she has held management positions at The Mill at Loon Mountain Resort, Lincoln, NH; the Eagle Mountain House, Jackson, NH; Arthur Andersen LLP, Manchester, NH, as Senior Auditor. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Bentley College, she became a NH Certified Public Accountant in 1995, and is involved in her community by serving as former Treasurer for the Town of Carroll, NH, and Chairperson of its Budget Committee.
Holly Bales - Restaurant Manager The Mountain Club on Loon
Holly Bales is the Restaurant Manager, and has previously served The Mountain Club as a server, dining room captain, and lead bartender. Holly’s first experience in hospitality was working with her family on Lincoln’s Café Lafayette Dinner Train as a server, host and bartender. Holly’s past experiences include Front of the House Manager at the Boutique Smith Fork Ranch in Crawford Colorado.
Kevin Richardson- Chef de Cuisine
Kevin Richardson serves as Chef de Cuisine. A culinary professional for almost 20 years, Chef Kevin’s past experience includes: 8-year tenure as Main Dining Room Chef at The Omni Mount Washington Resort, where he was instrumental in obtaining the resort’s prestigious AAA Four Diamond Dining Award. In addition, he has served as pastry chef at several boutique French Bakeries in the Boston Area; and as Sous Chef of The Nashoba Valley Ski Report. He is a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America (CIA), pursuing his studies at both the Hyde Park, New York; and Greystone, California campuses, earning a Bachelor of Sciences in Professional Studies. A native of Littleton Massachusetts, he is an alumnus of Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical High School, where he pursued the Culinary Arts and Baking Program.
