Flume Gorge

This spectacular walk through a natural chasm takes you from the Flume Visitor Center on wide gravel paths and wooden walkways through covered bridges, past waterfalls and on to the 800-foot long gorge with its sheer 90-foot walls. Enjoy awe-inspiring scenic pools, glacial boulders and mountain views. As a bonus, enjoy a free 15-minute introductory movie on Franconia Notch State Park at the Visitor Center. Franconia Notch State Park

Franconia Notch was the home of the famous Old Man of the Mountain, the same "Great Stone Face" immortalized by Nathaniel Hawthorne and Daniel Webster. The park also contains Echo Lake, The Basin (a deep glacial pothole), Cannon Aerial Tramway, Lafayette Campground, Flume Gorge and more. Open year-round. Rt. 3, Lincoln.

Franconia Soaring Center

Experience the purest form of flight as you soar above the White Mountains in the area’s only sailplanes on a flight of spectacular peace and beauty. Hobo Hills Adventure Golf

New England’s largest adventure golf experience – and the most beautifully landscaped – is just minutes away. Hobo Railroad

Lost River Gorge and Bolder Caves

Tour Lost River Gorge on boardwalks, following the river as it appears and disappears among the chaotic jumble of glacially scattered boulders. Clamber about the Hall of Ships, stand under Guillotine Rock and squeeze through the Lemon Squeezer (all caves can be bypassed). Pemi Valley Moose Tours
